The
responsibility for registering Belmont County's sexually
oriented offenders through the State of Ohio's newly implemented
E-SORN program (Electronic Sexual Offender Registration
Network). As E-SORN Officer, Sgt. Dave Lucas is responsible for
the statutory mandatory registration of sexually oriented
offenders in Belmont County through the E-SORN network, and for
notification of the presence of these individuals to local law
enforcement, school officials, etc., as well as ascertaining
their whereabouts in the community and verifying the accuracy of
information provided by them to Sgt. Lucas. |
